son Michael mentioned on marker is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City.
Bottom half of the stone, close-up. The name is inscribed again along the very bottom of the headstone. The back of the stone is entirely blank. The inscriptions are so well done...I'm thinking this headstone came from SLC or San Francisco. There are other family members in the same cemetery. Some headstones seem to read 'Garbis' but this one appears to say 'Carbis'.
