Died Summer 1868
First Mayor of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Drown 4 1/2 miles upstream on the Green River
in Red Creek Rapids. Some historians dispute the location
of his burial because of the number of Hook Graves
the appeared after his widow offered a $1,000 for
location of actual burial.
