Joseph Alexander Hill was born 12 December 1860 in Mendon, Cache, Utah to William Hood and Maria Caroline Sorenson Hill. Joseph Alexander died the 26 November 1926 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah and was buried the 30 November 1926.
Joseph Alexander Hill married Betsy Ann Bawden 31 May 1883 in the Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. They were the parents of 14 children: Joseph, Betsy, Sarah Edith, Mary Ethel, Samuel Forest, Evelyn Fern, Edgar, Grover Bawden, Henry Earl, Jacob, William Delbert, John Dewey, Lovenia Elizabeth and Lavelle Freelove Hill.
*Note: Name on grave marker is incorrect. It is Joseph Alexander Hill.
