These 8 burial plots were originally purchased by William Friedrich Rudiger, his young wife Ada Whittlesey Rudiger pass away in 1924. When Will's mother passed away he gave two plots to his parents, they are both buried here. In 1935, knowing that he would not be buried in this location because he had remarried and was living in California, Will gave the remaining plots to Joan Marie Rudiger Wiese his sister. There is no legal document of this tranaction, but this knowledge was made known to Helen by her mother. In 1972 when Joan Marie Rudiger Wiese died she was buried here. As mentioned there was no legal docmentation to the transfer of ownship, so many letters were written to Will's family requesting proper premission for this to be done. Florentine (Florence) Leuser Rudiger, Will's widow, gave Joan and Helen the remaining plots, although again the cemetery still shows the ownership to be in the name of William Rudiger.
