Mary Elizabeth Fenton was born the 24 October 1836 in Georgetown, Burlington, New Jersey to Samuel Carr and Henriette Clahasse Mount Fenton. Mary Elizabeth died the 14 May 1898 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah and was buried the 15 May 1898 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.
Mary Elizabeth Fenton married Brigham Young Jr. the 7 March 1868 in the Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Mary Elizabeth and Brigham Young Jr. were the parents of 3 children: Katie Belle, Henrietta Cholhassee and Frank Fenton Young.
