Woodrow Earl Ekstedt was born the 4 July 1918 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah the 5th child of Niels Ohlsen and Laura Barker Ekstedt. He died 1 September 1958 in Lynwood, Los Angeles, California and was buried the 10 September 1958.
Woodrow Earl Ekstedt married Patricia Phebe Palmer the 27 September 1943 in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho. They were the parents of two children: Turdy Ann Ekstedt and Steven Nels Ekstedt.
